मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-69, verse-12

भुञ्जता च नरेन्द्रेण क्षणमात्रं करे धृता ।
बुभुजे स्वल्पकं भक्ष्यं द्विज नातिमुदावती ॥१२॥
12. bhuñjatā ca narendreṇa kṣaṇamātraṃ kare dhṛtā .
bubhuje svalpakaṃ bhakṣyaṃ dvija nātimudāvatī.

bubhuje svalpakam bhakṣyam dvija na ati-mudāvatī
12. O twice-born one (dvija), while the king was eating, she held the edible item in her hand for just a moment. She ate only a very small amount of the food, and not with much joy.
