मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-69, verse-52

ऋषिरुवाच ।
किं निमित्तमिहायातो भवान्किं ते चिकिर्षितम् ।
उत्तानपादतनयं वेद्मि त्वामुत्तमं नृप ॥५२॥
52. ṛṣiruvāca .
kiṃ nimittamihāyāto bhavānkiṃ te cikirṣitam .
uttānapādatanayaṃ vedmi tvāmuttamaṃ nṛpa.
52. ṛṣiḥ uvāca kim nimittam iha āyātaḥ bhavān kim te
cikīrṣitam uttānapādatanayam vedmi tvām uttamam nṛpa
52. The sage said, "For what purpose have you come here? What is it that you wish to accomplish? O king, I know you to be the excellent son of Uttānapāda."
