मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-69, verse-47

इतश्चेतश्च तेनासौ परिबभ्राम मेदिनीम् ।
ददर्श च महारण्ये तापसाश्रममुत्तमम् ॥४७॥
47. itaścetaśca tenāsau paribabhrāma medinīm .
dadarśa ca mahāraṇye tāpasāśramamuttamam.

47. He (the king) wandered here and there across the earth, and in a great forest, he saw an excellent hermitage (āśrama) of ascetics (tapas).
