महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-12, verse-45

तदुदस्तमलातं तु भीमः प्रहरतां वरः ।
पदा सव्येन चिक्षेप तद्रक्षः पुनराव्रजत् ॥४५॥
45. tadudastamalātaṁ tu bhīmaḥ praharatāṁ varaḥ ,
padā savyena cikṣepa tadrakṣaḥ punarāvrajat.

45. Bhima, the foremost among strikers, hurled that uplifted burning brand with his left foot, but that demon (rakṣas) immediately came back.
