महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-12, verse-15

स दृष्ट्वा पाण्डवान्दूरात्कृष्णाजिनसमावृतान् ।
आवृणोत्तद्वनद्वारं मैनाक इव पर्वतः ॥१५॥
15. sa dṛṣṭvā pāṇḍavāndūrātkṛṣṇājinasamāvṛtān ,
āvṛṇottadvanadvāraṁ maināka iva parvataḥ.
15. saḥ dṛṣṭvā pāṇḍavān dūrāt kṛṣṇājinasaṃāvṛtān
āvṛṇot tat vanadvāram mainākaḥ iva parvataḥ
15. Having seen the Pāṇḍavas, who were covered in black deer skins, from a distance, he blocked the entrance to that forest, just as Mount Maināka would.
