महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-12, verse-19

अथ तां राक्षसीं मायामुत्थितां घोरदर्शनाम् ।
रक्षोघ्नैर्विविधैर्मन्त्रैर्धौम्यः सम्यक्प्रयोजितैः ।
पश्यतां पाण्डुपुत्राणां नाशयामास वीर्यवान् ॥१९॥
19. atha tāṁ rākṣasīṁ māyāmutthitāṁ ghoradarśanām ,
rakṣoghnairvividhairmantrairdhaumyaḥ samyakprayojitaiḥ ,
paśyatāṁ pāṇḍuputrāṇāṁ nāśayāmāsa vīryavān.
19. atha tām rākṣasīm māyām utthitām
ghoradarśanām rakṣoghnaiḥ vividhaiḥ
mantraiḥ dhaumyaḥ samyakprayojitaiḥ
paśyatām pāṇḍuputrāṇām nāśayāmāsa vīryavān
19. Then, the powerful Dhaumya, with various demon-slaying incantations (mantra) properly applied, destroyed that terrifying-looking demonic illusion (māyā) which had manifested, while the sons of Pāṇḍu watched.
