महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-12, verse-35

अद्याहमनृणो भूत्वा भ्रातुः सख्युस्तथैव च ।
शान्तिं लब्धास्मि परमां हत्व राक्षसकण्टकम् ॥३५॥
35. adyāhamanṛṇo bhūtvā bhrātuḥ sakhyustathaiva ca ,
śāntiṁ labdhāsmi paramāṁ hatva rākṣasakaṇṭakam.
35. adya aham anṛṇaḥ bhūtvā bhrātuḥ sakhyuḥ tathā eva
ca śāntim labdhā asmi paramām hatvā rākṣasakantakam
35. Today, having become free from my obligation to my brother and also to my friend, I shall obtain supreme peace (śānti) by killing this demon-like impediment.
