महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-12, verse-1

धृतराष्ट्र उवाच ।
किर्मीरस्य वधं क्षत्तः श्रोतुमिच्छामि कथ्यताम् ।
रक्षसा भीमसेनस्य कथमासीत्समागमः ॥१॥
1. dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca ,
kirmīrasya vadhaṁ kṣattaḥ śrotumicchāmi kathyatām ,
rakṣasā bhīmasenasya kathamāsītsamāgamaḥ.
1. dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ uvāca kirmīrasya vadham kṣattaḥ śrotum icchāmi
kathyatām rakṣasā bhīmasenasya katham āsīt samāgamaḥ
1. Dhṛtarāṣṭra said: "O charioteer, I wish to hear about the killing of Kirmīra; please tell me. How did the encounter (samāgamaḥ) between Bhīmasena and the rākṣasa take place?"
