महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-12, verse-32

हिडिम्बश्च सखा मह्यं दयितो वनगोचरः ।
हतो दुरात्मनानेन स्वसा चास्य हृता पुरा ॥३२॥
32. hiḍimbaśca sakhā mahyaṁ dayito vanagocaraḥ ,
hato durātmanānena svasā cāsya hṛtā purā.
32. hiḍimbaḥ ca sakhā mahyam dayitaḥ vanagocaraḥ
hataḥ durātmanā anena svasā ca asya hṛtā purā
32. And Hiḍimba, my beloved forest-dwelling friend, was killed by this evil-minded one (durātman). Furthermore, his sister was carried away by him long ago.
