महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-53, verse-23

तत्रैव च स राजर्षिस्तस्थौ तां रजनीं तदा ।
सभार्यो वाग्यतः श्रीमान्न च तं कोप आविशत् ॥२३॥
23. tatraiva ca sa rājarṣistasthau tāṁ rajanīṁ tadā ,
sabhāryo vāgyataḥ śrīmānna ca taṁ kopa āviśat.

sabhāryaḥ vāgyataḥ śrīmān na ca taṃ kopaḥ āviśat
23. ca sa śrīmān sabhāryaḥ vāgyataḥ rājarṣiḥ tatra eva
tāṃ rajanīṃ tadā tasthau ca kopaḥ taṃ na āviśat
23. And there, that glorious royal sage, accompanied by his wife and keeping silent, remained that night. And anger did not overcome him.
