[They also brought] diverse *rasālā* (sweet dishes with curds), cakes, elaborate *modaka* (sweet dumplings), and *ṣāḍava* (sweet and sour condiments). Additionally, there were various kinds of flavorful dishes and forest produce suitable for the sage (muni).
