प्रसादयामास ततो देवं नारायणं प्रभुम् ।
शरणं च जगामाद्यं वरेण्यं वरदं हरिम् ॥६१॥

Thus addressed by Brahmā, Rudra, giving up his fire of wrath, then appeased the lord Nārāyaṇa. He also sought refuge with Hari, who is primeval, most excellent, and a bestower of boons.
