तच्च शूलं विनिर्धूतं हुंकारेण महात्मना ।
जगाम शंकरकरं नारायणसमाहतम् ॥४६॥

46. tacca śūlaṁ vinirdhūtaṁ huṁkāreṇa mahātmanā ,
jagāma śaṁkarakaraṁ nārāyaṇasamāhatam.

46. ca tat śūlam mahātmanā huṃkāreṇa vinirdhūtam

46. And that trident, which had been cast forth with a roar by the great-souled one (Rudra), and then struck by (Viṣṇu) Nārāyaṇa, returned to (Śiva) Śaṃkara's hand.
