महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-330, verse-58

व्यक्तिभावगतस्यास्य एका मूर्तिरियं शिवा ।
नरो नारायणश्चैव जातौ धर्मकुलोद्वहौ ॥५८॥
58. vyaktibhāvagatasyāsya ekā mūrtiriyaṁ śivā ,
naro nārāyaṇaścaiva jātau dharmakulodvahau.
58. vyaktibhāvagtasya asya ekā mūrtiḥ iyam śivā
naraḥ nārāyaṇaḥ ca eva jātau dharmakulodvahau
58. Of this Being, who has entered the manifest state, this auspicious form is one: Nara and Nārāyaṇa were indeed born as upholders of the lineage of (dharma).
