अग्नेरादित्यचन्द्रादेस्तैजसं मण्डलं यथा ।
पिशाचादेरजन्यात्म तामसं मण्डलं तथा ॥ ८३ ॥

83. yathā agneḥ āditya-candra-ādeḥ taijasam maṇḍalam
tathā piśāca-ādeḥ ajanyātma tāmasam maṇḍalam

83. Just as there is a fiery, luminous orb associated with fire, the sun, the moon, and so forth, similarly, there is a dark orb associated with ghosts and such beings, whose essence is not of human origin.
