योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-94, verse-32

छायया भयदायिन्या त्वन्यत्र भ्रमरूपया ।
ते चित्ताक्रमणं कृत्वा बोधयन्ति नराशयम् ॥ ३२ ॥
chāyayā bhayadāyinyā tvanyatra bhramarūpayā ,
te cittākramaṇaṃ kṛtvā bodhayanti narāśayam 32
32. chāyayā bhayadāyinyā tu anyatra bhramarūpayā
te cittākramaṇaṃ kṛtvā bodhayanti narāśayam
32. te chāyayā bhayadāyinyā anyatra tu bhramarūpayā
cittākramaṇaṃ kṛtvā narāśayam bodhayanti
32. Through a terrifying shadow, or elsewhere, by an illusory form, they seize the mind and awaken the human consciousness.
