योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-4, verse-59

श्रीराम उवाच ।
सच्चेन्न शाम्यत्येवेदं नाभावो विद्यते सतः ।
असत्तां च न विद्मोऽस्मिन्दृश्ये दोषप्रदायिनि ॥ ५९ ॥
śrīrāma uvāca ,
saccenna śāmyatyevedaṃ nābhāvo vidyate sataḥ ,
asattāṃ ca na vidmo'smindṛśye doṣapradāyini 59
59. śrīrāma uvāca | sat cet na śāmyati eva idam na abhāvaḥ
vidyate sataḥ asattām ca na vidmaḥ asmin dṛśye doṣapradāyini
59. śrīrāma uvāca cet idam sat (asti),
eva na śāmyati sataḥ abhāvaḥ na vidyate ca asmin doṣapradāyini dṛśye asattām na vidmaḥ
59. Śrī Rāma said: If this (world) is truly existent, then it would not subside, for there is no non-existence for that which is real. We also do not perceive non-existence in this phenomenal world (dṛśya), which is the source of all imperfections.
