योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-106, verse-71

दत्ताप्यनेन सा मह्यं कुमारी भयदायिनी ।
सुकृष्णा कृष्णवर्णेन दुष्कृतेनेव यातना ॥ ७१ ॥
dattāpyanena sā mahyaṃ kumārī bhayadāyinī ,
sukṛṣṇā kṛṣṇavarṇena duṣkṛteneva yātanā 71
71. dattā api anena sā mahyam kumārī bhayadayinī
sukṛṣṇā kṛṣṇavarṇena duṣkṛtena iva yātanā
71. anena sā bhayadayinī sukṛṣṇā kṛṣṇavarṇena kumārī api mahyam dattā,
duṣkṛtena iva yātanā
71. That terrifying, dark-skinned maiden was given to me by him, like a painful punishment (yātanā) resulting from evil (duṣkṛta) deeds.
