प्रवृत्तस्तामहं स्फारां विहर्तुं जङ्गलस्थलीम् ।
कालो जगत्कुटीं कल्पदग्धभूतगणामिव ॥ ३६ ॥
pravṛttastāmahaṃ sphārāṃ vihartuṃ jaṅgalasthalīm ,
kālo jagatkuṭīṃ kalpadagdhabhūtagaṇāmiva 36
36. pravṛttaḥ tām aham sfārām vihartum jaṅgala-sthalīm
kālaḥ jagat-kuṭīm kalpa-dagdha-bhūta-gaṇām iva
36. aham pravṛttaḥ tām sfārām jaṅgala-sthalīm vihartum [gataḥ];
kālaḥ jagat-kuṭīm kalpa-dagdha-bhūta-gaṇām iva [pravartate]
36. I began to wander (vihartum) through that vast jungle area, just as Time (kāla) roams through the world's hut, which resembles a multitude of beings scorched at the end of a cosmic cycle (kalpa).
