योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-106, verse-5

आलोक्यैतामहं लोलामस्याश्वस्य पुरः स्थितः ।
पृष्ठमारूढवानेक आत्मना भ्रान्तमानसः ॥ ५ ॥
ālokyaitāmahaṃ lolāmasyāśvasya puraḥ sthitaḥ ,
pṛṣṭhamārūḍhavāneka ātmanā bhrāntamānasaḥ 5
5. ālokya etām aham lolām asyāḥ āśvasya puraḥ sthitaḥ
pṛṣṭham ārūḍhavān ekaḥ ātmanā bhrāntamānasaḥ
5. aham bhrāntamānasaḥ asyāḥ lolām etām ālokya āśvasya puraḥ sthitaḥ (abhavam).
tatas ekaḥ ātmanā pṛṣṭham ārūḍhavān (abhavam).
5. Having observed this flickering (wand), I, with my bewildered mind, stood before it, having gained confidence. Then, by myself, I alone mounted its back.
