वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-61, verse-15

दृष्ट्वा तमुपसंगम्य पौलस्त्यो वाक्यमब्रवीत् ।
कच्चिदार्यशरैस्तीर्ष्णैर्न प्राणा ध्वंसितास्तव ॥१५॥
15. dṛṣṭvā tamupasaṃgamya paulastyo vākyamabravīt ,
kaccidāryaśaraistīrṣṇairna prāṇā dhvaṃsitāstava.

15. Having seen and approached him, Vibhīṣaṇa (the descendant of Pulastya) spoke these words: 'Surely your life (prāṇa) was not destroyed by the sharp arrows of the noble one (Rāma)?'
