मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-96, verse-26

स चकार तदा स्तोत्रं सप्तर्च्चेर्यतमानसः ।
स चैकचित्तो मेदिन्यां न्यस्तजानुः कृताञ्जलिः ॥२६॥
26. sa cakāra tadā stotraṃ saptarcceryatamānasaḥ .
sa caikacitto medinyāṃ nyastajānuḥ kṛtāñjaliḥ.
26. sa cakāra tadā stotram saptarceḥ yatāmanasaḥ |
sa ca ekacittaḥ medinyām nyastajānuḥ kṛtāñjaliḥ
26. Then, with a concentrated mind, he composed a hymn of seven verses. And, focusing solely on the object of his devotion, he knelt on the ground with folded hands (kṛtāñjali).
