सोऽहं पापो गुरोस्तस्य निमित्तं कोपशापयोः ।
तथात्मानं न शोचामि यथा पापं कृतं गुरोः ॥२२॥

22. so'haṃ pāpo gurostasya nimittaṃ kopaśāpayoḥ .
tathātmānaṃ na śocāmi yathā pāpaṃ kṛtaṃ guroḥ.

I am that sinful person who caused the wrath and curse of that preceptor (guru). I do not grieve for myself (ātman) as much as I grieve for the sin I have committed against my guru.
