हुतं हविस्त्वय्यनल मेधत्वमुपगच्छति ।
ततश्च जलरूपेण परिणाममुपैति यत् ॥३०॥

hutam haviḥ tvayi anala medhatvam upagacchati
tataḥ ca jalarūpeṇa pariṇāmam upaiti yat

The oblation (haviḥ) offered into you, O Fire, attains the state of richness (medhatvam). And from that, it undergoes transformation (pariṇāmam) into the form of water.
