मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-96, verse-23

दृष्ट्वा प्रशान्तमनलं नूनं शप्स्यति मां गुरुः ।
यथा वा पावकः क्रुद्धस्तथा वीर्यो हि स द्विजः ॥२३॥
23. dṛṣṭvā praśāntamanalaṃ nūnaṃ śapsyati māṃ guruḥ .
yathā vā pāvakaḥ kruddhastathā vīryo hi sa dvijaḥ.
23. dṛṣṭvā praśāntam analam nūnam śapsyati mām guruḥ
yathā vā pāvakaḥ kruddhaḥ tathā vīryaḥ hi saḥ dvijaḥ
23. My preceptor (guru), having seen the fire appeased, will surely curse me. For that twice-born (dvija) one is indeed as mighty as an enraged fire.
