मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-96, verse-11

तस्य भ्राता सुवर्च्चाऽभूद्यज्ञे तेनाभिमन्त्रितः ।
यियासुः शान्तिनामानं शिष्यमाह महामतिम् ॥११॥
11. tasya bhrātā suvarccā'bhūdyajñe tenābhimantritaḥ .
yiyāsuḥ śāntināmānaṃ śiṣyamāha mahāmatim.
11. tasya bhrātā suvarccāḥ abhūt yajñe tena abhimantritaḥ
yiyāsuḥ śāntināmānam śiṣyam āha mahāmatim
11. His brother, Suvarcas, was (there). Having been invited by him (Suvarcas) to a Vedic ritual (yajña), he (Bhūti), desiring to go, spoke to his highly intelligent disciple named Shānti.
