मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-96, verse-21

यद्यन्यमग्निमत्राहमग्निस्थाने करोमि तत् ।
सर्वप्रत्यक्षदृग्भस्म सोऽवश्यं मां करिष्यति ॥२१॥
21. yadyanyamagnimatrāhamagnisthāne karomi tat .
sarvapratyakṣadṛgbhasma so'vaśyaṃ māṃ kariṣyati.
21. yadi anyam agnim atra aham agnisthāne karomi tat
sarvapratyakṣadṛk bhasma saḥ avaśyam mām kariṣyati
21. If I prepare another fire here in the place of the (original) fire, then that omniscient guru (guru) will certainly reduce me to ashes.
