मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-96, verse-55

करोति कामं भूतेभ्यो या ते जिह्वा सुलोहिता ।
तया नः पाहि पापेभ्य ऐहिकाच्च महाभयात् ॥५५॥
55. karoti kāmaṃ bhūtebhyo yā te jihvā sulohitā .
tayā naḥ pāhi pāpebhya aihikācca mahābhayāt.

tayā naḥ pāhi pāpebhyaḥ aihikāt ca mahābhayāt
55. By that tongue of yours, which is beautifully red and fulfills the desires of beings, protect us from sins and from the great fear of this world.
