तुभ्यं कृत्वा द्विजः पूजां स्वकर्मविहितां गतिम् ॥४२॥

42. tvāmṛte hi jagatsarvaṃ sadyo naśyeddhutāśana .
tubhyaṃ kṛtvā dvijaḥ pūjāṃ svakarmavihitāṃ gatim.

42.
O Agni (hutāśana), truly, without you, the entire world would immediately be destroyed. Having offered you worship, a Brahmin (dvija) attains the destination prescribed by his own (karma).
