मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-96, verse-9

तस्येन्दुर्नातिशीताय नातितापाय भास्करः ।
अभवन्मातरिश्वा च ववौ नाति महामुने ॥९॥
9. tasyendurnātiśītāya nātitāpāya bhāskaraḥ .
abhavanmātariśvā ca vavau nāti mahāmune.
9. tasya induḥ na atiśītāya na atitāpāya bhāskaraḥ
abhavat mātariśvā ca vavau na ati mahāmune
9. For him, the moon (indu) was not excessively cold, nor was the sun (bhāskara) excessively hot. And the wind (mātariśvā) did not blow too strongly, O great sage.
