अन्यच्च कुरुते कर्म गुरुभक्तिवशानुगः ।
प्रशान्तस्तावदनलो योऽसौ भूतिपरिग्रहः ॥१७॥

And he also performs other duties (karma), being obedient to the power of his devotion (bhakti) to his teacher (guru). Meanwhile, that very fire, which was for the sake of prosperity, extinguishes.
