मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-96, verse-53

कराली नाम या जिह्वा महाप्रलयकारणम् ।
तया नः पाहि पापेभ्य ऐहिकाच्च महाभयात् ॥५३॥
53. karālī nāma yā jihvā mahāpralayakāraṇam .
tayā naḥ pāhi pāpebhya aihikācca mahābhayāt.

53. May that tongue, named Karālī, which is the cause of the great dissolution (mahāpralaya), protect us from sins and from the great fear of this earthly existence.
