मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
इत्याज्ञाप्य तथेत्युक्तो गुरुः शिष्येण शान्तिना ।
जगाम यज्ञं तं भ्रातुराहूतः स यवीयसः ॥१५॥

15. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
ityājñāpya tathetyukto guruḥ śiṣyeṇa śāntinā .
jagāma yajñaṃ taṃ bhrāturāhūtaḥ sa yavīyasaḥ.

15.
Mārkaṇḍeya said: Having thus given the command, and having been affirmed ('so be it') by his disciple Śānti, the guru (teacher) went to that particular Vedic ritual (yajña) to which he had been summoned by his younger brother.
