महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-33, verse-14

तं सूतपुत्रो नवभिः प्रत्यविध्यदरिंदमः ।
वत्सदन्तैर्महेष्वासः प्रहसन्निव भारत ॥१४॥
14. taṁ sūtaputro navabhiḥ pratyavidhyadariṁdamaḥ ,
vatsadantairmaheṣvāsaḥ prahasanniva bhārata.

14. bhārata,

14. O Bhārata, that son of Sūta (Karṇa), the subduer of enemies (arindama), who was a great archer (maheṣvāsa), pierced him (Arjuna) back with nine arrows shaped like calf's teeth (vatsadanta), as if smiling.
