महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-33, verse-12

यद्बलं यच्च ते वीर्यं प्रद्वेषो यश्च पाण्डुषु ।
तत्सर्वं दर्शयस्वाद्य पौरुषं महदास्थितः ।
युद्धश्रद्धां स तेऽद्याहं विनेष्यामि महाहवे ॥१२॥
12. yadbalaṁ yacca te vīryaṁ pradveṣo yaśca pāṇḍuṣu ,
tatsarvaṁ darśayasvādya pauruṣaṁ mahadāsthitaḥ ,
yuddhaśraddhāṁ sa te'dyāhaṁ vineṣyāmi mahāhave.
12. yad balam yat ca te vīryam pradveṣaḥ
yaḥ ca pāṇḍuṣu tat sarvam darśayasva adya
pauruṣam mahat āsthitaḥ yuddhaśraddhām
sa te adya aham vineṣyāmi mahāhave
12. te yat balam yat ca vīryam yaḥ ca pāṇḍuṣu pradveṣaḥ,
tat sarvam mahat pauruṣam āsthitaḥ adya darśayasva.
saḥ adya aham te yuddhaśraddhām mahāhave vineṣyāmi.
12. Whatever strength and valor you possess, and whatever hatred you harbor for the Pāṇḍavas, display all that great prowess (pauruṣa) today, having taken a firm stand. For I will surely extinguish your desire for battle (yuddhaśraddhā) today in this great war.
