महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-33, verse-13

एवमुक्त्वा महाराज कर्णं पाण्डुसुतस्तदा ।
सुवर्णपुङ्खैर्दशभिर्विव्याधायस्मयैः शितैः ॥१३॥
13. evamuktvā mahārāja karṇaṁ pāṇḍusutastadā ,
suvarṇapuṅkhairdaśabhirvivyādhāyasmayaiḥ śitaiḥ.

suvarṇapuṅkhaiḥ daśabhiḥ vivyādha āyasmayaiḥ śitaiḥ

13. Having spoken thus, O great king (Mahārāja), the son of Pāṇḍu (Arjuna) then pierced Karṇa with ten sharp, iron-made arrows, feathered with gold.
