महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-15, verse-7

यस्तमोऽर्क इवापोहन्परसैन्यममित्रहा ।
सहस्ररश्मिप्रतिमः परेषां भयमादधत् ।
अकरोद्दुष्करं कर्म रणे कौरवशासनात् ॥७॥
7. yastamo'rka ivāpohanparasainyamamitrahā ,
sahasraraśmipratimaḥ pareṣāṁ bhayamādadhat ,
akarodduṣkaraṁ karma raṇe kauravaśāsanāt.

7. yaḥ amitrahā,

7. He, the slayer of foes, who, like the sun (arka) dispelling darkness, scattered the enemy army, and who, resembling the thousand-rayed sun, instilled fear in his adversaries, performed an exceedingly difficult deed (karma) in battle at the command of the Kurus.
