महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-15, verse-61

वयं वा राज्यमिच्छामो घातयित्वा पितामहम् ।
क्षत्रधर्मे स्थिताः पार्था नापराध्यन्ति पुत्रकाः ॥६१॥
61. vayaṁ vā rājyamicchāmo ghātayitvā pitāmaham ,
kṣatradharme sthitāḥ pārthā nāparādhyanti putrakāḥ.
61. vayam vā rājyam icchāmaḥ ghātayitvā pitāmaham
kṣatradharme sthitāḥ pārthāḥ na aparādhyanti putrakāḥ
61. vā vayam pitāmaham ghātayitvā rājyam icchāmaḥ? kṣatradharme sthitāḥ pārthāḥ na aparādhyanti,
putrakāḥ (ca api na aparādhyanti)
61. Or do we (Kauravas) desire a kingdom, having caused the venerable grandfather (Bhīṣma) to be killed? The sons of Pṛthā (Pārthāḥ), established in the warrior's intrinsic nature (kṣatradharma), are not committing wrong; (similarly) my sons (Kauravas also are not wrong).
