महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-15, verse-21

तं हतं समरे भीष्मं महारथबलोचितम् ।
संजयाचक्ष्व मे वीरं येन शर्म न विद्महे ॥२१॥

21. taṁ hataṁ samare bhīṣmaṁ mahārathabalocitam ,
saṁjayācakṣva me vīraṁ yena śarma na vidmahe.

21. O Sanjaya, tell me how that hero (vīra), Bhishma, who was killed in battle, and who was worthy of the strength of a great chariot warrior (mahāratha), [was slain], because of his demise, we find no peace (śarma).
