अद्रिसारमयं नूनं सुदृढं हृदयं मम ।
यच्छ्रुत्वा पुरुषव्याघ्रं हतं भीष्मं न दीर्यते ॥५३॥

53. adrisāramayaṁ nūnaṁ sudṛḍhaṁ hṛdayaṁ mama ,
yacchrutvā puruṣavyāghraṁ hataṁ bhīṣmaṁ na dīryate.

śrutvā puruṣavyāghram hatam bhīṣmam na dīryate

53. My heart is surely very firm, made of mountain-essence, because it does not break even after hearing that Bhishma, that tiger among men, has been killed.
