महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-13, verse-40

हतो हंस इति प्रोक्तमथ केनापि भारत ।
तच्छ्रुत्वा डिभको राजन्यमुनाम्भस्यमज्जत ॥४०॥
40. hato haṁsa iti proktamatha kenāpi bhārata ,
tacchrutvā ḍibhako rājanyamunāmbhasyamajjata.
40. hataḥ haṃsaḥ iti proktam atha kena api bhārata
tat śrutvā ḍimakaḥ rājan yamunāmbhasi amajjata
40. Someone then said, 'Haṃsa is killed,' O Bhārata. Hearing that, Diṃbhaka, O King, drowned himself in the waters of the Yamuna.
