महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-13, verse-18

आत्मानं प्रतिजानाति लोकेऽस्मिन्पुरुषोत्तमम् ।
आदत्ते सततं मोहाद्यः स चिह्नं च मामकम् ॥१८॥

18. ātmānaṁ pratijānāti loke'sminpuruṣottamam ,
ādatte satataṁ mohādyaḥ sa cihnaṁ ca māmakam.

18. In this world, he who declares himself to be the supreme person (puruṣa) and, out of delusion, constantly assumes my emblem as well.
