महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-13, verse-5

ऐलवंश्यास्तु ये राजंस्तथैवेक्ष्वाकवो नृपाः ।
तानि चैकशतं विद्धि कुलानि भरतर्षभ ॥५॥
5. ailavaṁśyāstu ye rājaṁstathaivekṣvākavo nṛpāḥ ,
tāni caikaśataṁ viddhi kulāni bharatarṣabha.
5. ailavaṃśyāḥ tu ye rājan tathā eva ikṣvākavaḥ
nṛpāḥ tāni ca ekaśatam viddhi kulāni bharatarṣabha
5. O King, O best among the Bharatas, know that those kings who are of the Aila lineage, and similarly the Ikshvakus, comprise these one hundred and one clans.
