महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-13, verse-28

तथैव सर्वपाञ्चाला जरासंधभयार्दिताः ।
स्वराष्ट्रं संपरित्यज्य विद्रुताः सर्वतोदिशम् ॥२८॥
28. tathaiva sarvapāñcālā jarāsaṁdhabhayārditāḥ ,
svarāṣṭraṁ saṁparityajya vidrutāḥ sarvatodiśam.

svarāṣṭram saṃparityajya vidrutāḥ sarvatodiśam
28. In the same way, all the Pañcālas, afflicted by fear of Jarāsaṃdha, completely abandoned their own kingdom and scattered in all directions.
