avaśyameva vaktavyaṁ śṛṇuṣvaikamanā dvija.

The king said: 'Since you have spoken thus, O Brāhmaṇa, even that which should not be disclosed must certainly be told. Therefore, O twice-born (dvija), listen with a focused mind.'
