Indeed, O (brahman), you were then pleased with a benevolent intention towards me. O blameless one, previously you gave instructions regarding the ancestral rites (pitṛkārya), concerning the cushion, the darbha grass, the offerings to the gods (havya), and the offerings to the ancestors (kavya), O best of sages (muni).
