महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-10, verse-46

भाव्यं हि कारणेनात्र न ते हास्यमकारणम् ।
कौतूहलं मे सुभृशं तत्त्वेन कथयस्व मे ॥४६॥
46. bhāvyaṁ hi kāraṇenātra na te hāsyamakāraṇam ,
kautūhalaṁ me subhṛśaṁ tattvena kathayasva me.
