34.
One of them became a sage (ṛṣi) well-versed in the Atharva Veda and other (Vedic) texts. He also attained the highest proficiency in the developed applications of the Kalpa (ritual manuals) and in astronomy/astrology (jyotiṣa). Furthermore, their great affection for each other also grew.
