प्रवृत्तयश्च या लोके तथैव च निवृत्तयः ।
तासां विकृतयो याश्च सर्वं कालात्मकं स्मृतम् ॥४७॥

47. Whatever activities (pravṛtti) and cessations (nivṛtti) exist in the world, and similarly, whatever transformations (vikṛti) pertaining to them occur—all of this is declared to be temporal (kālātmaka).
