योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-37, verse-59

अहभावाच्चिदाकाशो जाड्यातिशयतः क्षणात् ।
पाषाणतां जलमिव मनस्त्वाद्याति देहताम् ॥ ५९ ॥
ahabhāvāccidākāśo jāḍyātiśayataḥ kṣaṇāt ,
pāṣāṇatāṃ jalamiva manastvādyāti dehatām 59

59. Through the ego-sense (ahaṅkāra) and excessive inertia, the space of consciousness (cit-ākāśa) instantly solidifies like water turning into stone, and then attains the nature of mind and subsequently the body.
